Today, my teacher taught me about political cartoons and how to understand them. At first glance, they just looked to me like adult comics that my parents would read, such as Dilbert. Where the "political" part comes in, they are mostly about politics, such as Obama, Democrats and Republicans, etc. Next, my teacher assigned me to post a political cartoon online, so here it is. DeleteCady, I don't really get it. What is the Iranian president doing? I mean, he isn't in charge of a mass Mcdonald's plant, right? So, how is he as you said " just making matters worse?"
ReplyDeleteTranslation: The Iranian president believes in the silliness that obese children effect the country's national security. The silliness began with the Americans. "Making matters worse" means blaming the children even more.
